New Beginning

So I figured I would update on where I am at in my life and what I am doing now. I just accepted a position as a Pet Food Demonstrator for Blue Buffalo at Petco/PetsMart ( I am not sure where I will be located at, yet). My orientation for the position will be on Thursday at 1pm. I spoke to the hiring manager and he told me some interesting facts about Blue Buffalo that I found surprising. Even though I have my dog on Blue Buffalo and have researched the product extensively, I've found out alot more by just speaking to him for almost an hour. I am also in the hiring process with Pets A GO GO, a premier petsitting and doggie daycare company that is located in Westchester that is expanding into Fishkill. I had my interview on Wednesday and had a call back today to come into Tuesday to be observed. From what I here, I will be put in a room with a group of dogs and will be evaluated on how I assess the situations that arise. I am currently taking a class to pursue my EMT-B and also taking english and math to complete my prerequisites. My current major is in Paramedicine. I plan to volunteer for Beacon Volunteer Ambulance Corp (BVAC) and plan on taking an orientation to volunteer with SPCA on the first Tuesday in March. I also plan on volunteering for a traveling petting zoo, Pony parties w/ rascals( in exchange for horseback riding classes). I will also being taking the NYPD police exam on March 1st just to keep my options open.

NYC Marathon

NYC Marathon

The 2009 NYC Marathon will take place on Sunday, Nov. 1st. I am very excited. I will attempt to run the roughly 26 mile marathon. The registration fee is a turn off, though. I was about to sign up and it was a whopping 180 bucks! Applications to enter the lottery began this past Wednesday, but I can't figure out how to enter the lottery!! =( Well, I guess I'll figure it out another time. I really must finish this essay! I've been planning on starting my training for the marathon, but I've been holding it off. I think I am going to begin this Monday. Hopefully, I will actually begin training. I haven't worked out for almost a month now. =/

The internal fight

It is an internal battle with me everyday. I fight my urges and my defiance to the socially accepted aspects in life. I find myself constantly running in circles. I have no purpose. The only purposed\ programmed in my brain is reproduction, which is what all livings are created to do. I find those hormones constantly surging through my body and cutting me deep within my humanity. I find it hard to focus on any tasks that I am trying to achieve because I am focused on one thing. As many men embrace that primitive characteristic of the male, I find it to be a curse. I feel as though I have no power over my urges. My interests are limited, which could be partially due to the fact that my childhood was spent mostly watching nickalodeon and disney channel. Nevertheless, I feel trapped in a constant invulnerable state of sexual frustration. School work remains minimal for me, as time trickles by with every speck of dust and every drop of water. Things are not as they should be. My intelligence escapes me and my health diminishes. I am 20 years old and I feel as though I am already going through a mid-life crisis.

Blog of a Noob

This will be my first blog. I have no clue how to start this out. I wanted to do something cool (something graphically artistic or something of that nature), but my limited computer capabilities have left me with little to no creative flare. As my vocabulary has also gotten very limited over the past few years, I also find it hard to find the proper words for what I am saying. So please bare with me, as I attempt to re-educate myself on English language. I want to take a computer html course or something. I want to take so many classes, but can't seem to find the time. Let's list my class wishlist:

*Web Design*Bartending*Vietnamese*Tactical Medicine*French

Anyway, That is going to be it for now. It is time for bed. Later, Bloggers. And remember the titans!
